Next Titan Producer, Winner hail SIFAX Group support

Mide Kunle-Akinlaja, Executive Producer, The Next Titan, Nigeria’s foremost entrepreneurial reality TV show and Joshua Idiong, winner of the just concluded season, have hailed SIFAX Group’s support towards the successful hosting of the show’s previous season.

At the appreciation visit held at the company’s head office, Akinlaja thanked SIFAX Group for the support towards the last edition despite the harsh business environment occasioned by the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. “We are here today to say thank you for your support. SIFAX Group has been the only brand that has supported The Next Titan show right from the first season and despite the outbreak of the coronavirus last year, the company still supported us. The impact of the show on young Nigerians is far-reaching”, he said.

On his part, Joshua Idiong, Season 7 winner, hailed the support given by SIFAX Group in actualising his business dreams. He said: “As a young entrepreneur, the support I got from SIFAX Group and other brands has really taken my business to the next level. Before winning the show, I was working with about 75 farmers in my oil processing plant. Right now, we are scaling our support to about 250 farmers and also introducing our palm oil product to the Lagos market and other parts of the country. We are also planning on exporting the product to other international markets too and have started building our own processing plant with the support received from the show”.

In his response, Barrister Ezekiel Ajewole, Executive Director/SSA to the GEVC, assured the Next Titan Crew of SIFAX Group’s support. “Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, the Group Executive Vice Chairman of SIFAX Group is a man interested in the growth and development of youths in Nigeria. I assure you that we will continue to support the show. I also want to urge the winner to make good use of the prize money in order to make us all proud”, he explained.

SIFAX Group, the longest-running sponsor of The Next Titan, Nigeria’s foremost entrepreneurial reality TV show, has renewed its annual sponsorship for the 6th edition of the show.

SIFAX Group has been a sponsor of the TV show since its inception.

According to Mr. Adekunle Oyinloye, Group Managing Director, SIFAX Group, the impact of the show over the years in helping budding entrepreneurs to activate their business ideas is responsible for the continued sponsorship.

He said the company had thoroughly evaluated the programme viz-a-viz its objectives as well as the track record of past winners and other participants and the consensus favoured the sponsorship renewal.

He said: “The need to empower the next set of wealth creators, develop capacity for Nigeria’s youth and encourage the entrepreneurial instinct of young Nigerians are reasons why SIFAX Group has decided to renew its support for the Next Titan Season 6.

“We have also looked at the first five editions of the show, the mechanics, strategy, how past winners and participants have fared, new ideas introduced for this year’s show, among others and we are satisfied with the organisers and decided to renew our sponsorship.”

“SIFAX Group is desirous of creating the next set of wealth creators and entrepreneurs and we see The Next Titan as a veritable medium that this can be achieved. We are proud of how the previous winners of the show have gone on to add value to the society with their scalable and impactful business ideas and employment of more Nigerians.”

The Next Titan is the brain child of Bravo Points International.
