SIFAX Group, a multinational conglomerate of companies with interests in maritime, aviation, logistics, oil & gas and hospitality, has sponsored the 2015 inter-house sports competition of Holy Trinity Primary School, Agege, Lagos.
While welcoming the guests to the occasion, the school’s Head Teacher, Mrs. E.O Idowu, described the event as an avenue for the pupils to exhibit their talents, adding that the school believes in broad-based education that also includes physical and sporting activities.
Idowu also commended the SIFAX Group for its financial support in making the occasion a successful one. She admonished other corporate bodies and public-spirited individuals to emulate the generosity of the company.
In his remarks, the Corporate Affairs Manager, SIFAX Group, Akande Olumuyiwa, said the company, which has been sponsoring the event in the last five years, believes in investing in children, who are the future of the country. He promised that the company would continue to explore various platforms that provide support for the aspirations of the Nigerian children.
At the end of the keenly-contested event, SIFAX House (Orange) emerged the overall winner while NURTW, Iju House (Yellow) and Alhaji Rauf Ajibade House (Green) came second and third respectively.
