SIFAX FC has again won the bronze medal at the 6th annual Ships & Ports Maritime Football competition.
The team edged out ENL at a tension-soaked third-place match to win the bronze medal for the second consecutive year. The team also won the ‘Fair Play’ trophy, for being the most disciplined team throughout the two-week long competition. A grand reception was organised by the company to celebrate the victory of the team members at the group’s head office on April 17, 2014.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Phil Ofulue, Executive Director, Administration & Human Resources, thanked the club officials and players for their decent performance and most importantly for their discipline, which earned them the Fair Play trophy. He also assured the players and officials, of the company’s continuous support to perform better in the next edition and also support them in achieving their personal aspirations.
While responding, the team officials led by Mr. Oliver Omajuwa. Team Manager and SIFAX Group’s Head of Corporate Affairs was full of praises for the management of the company for the support the team enjoyed throughout the competition. He also promised that the team will aim for the ultimate prize in the next edition.
