The Executive Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has expressed satisfaction with the operational efficiency of Ports & Cargo Handling Services Limited and the other subsidiaries of the Group.
He made this known during a working visit to PCHS recently.
The Governor, who came with some members of his cabinet, noted that he was surprised at the magnitude of investment by how much investment the company has made at the port.
“I am really surprised at the level of operations we have here today. To know that an indigenous company is competing favorably with foreign investors gives my heart great joy. We are planning on developing a dry port at Dala in Kano State and I would be glad if the company can help us make this dream come to pass”, he noted.
While welcoming the governor and his cabinet to the terminal, John Jenkins, MD, PCHS, informed the governor of the terminal’s readiness to partner with the state during to its sterling record of success over the years.
