Michael Owope - Head, Group Internal Control

Mike is a 1988 Accounting graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Nigeria. He also holds an MBA (Finance) from Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso. Nigeria. He has about 20 years professional experience in Banking, Insurance and Shipping sector of the Nigerian economy.

Mike is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Associate of Chartered Institute of Taxation.

With about 14 year’s qualification as a Chartered Accountant, he amassed vast experiences in Accounting, Internal control, Budgetary control and Planning. He rose to the post of executive Director (Business Development) in his last place of service (Perpetual Assurance Company Limited) before joining Sifax Group as the Group Internal Auditor.
